| League Play Suspended | 6:56am EST | [E]psilon | With the recent withdraw of [FC] from active status, >MoP< is the last active team among STA-DOD:S.
I know some clans have their reasons for withdrawing from active play, but until scrimming >MoP< against itself is not really an option. Therefore, the league will suspend this present Season 3 of matches until a sufficient number of teams is collected to restart the league proper.

| Season 3 Config, Additional Week Off | 10:24am EST | [E]psilon | Here is the link to the new config for this next season. It's streamlined a bit, and also has some reporting changes for the server logs--just to make sure, in case we need it, that every detail possible is available.
Also, I'm going to extend the beginning of season play one more week to allow for cvarblock to be installed on your servers. If you have any questions or concerns, I'm going to try to idle #sta-dod as much as I can, otherwise, just shoot me an email. |

| Season 3 Rule Changes, cvarblock Requirement | 11:58am EST | [E]psilon | Please check out the all new rule revisions for this next upcoming Season 3 of matches. The one of most note is that cvarblock should be installed on all servers.
The next version of the STA config for DOD:S will be released soon. Clans are encouraged to install cvarblock over the next week. |

| >MoP< cleans up the playoffs again! | 11:10am EST | [E]psilon | Congrats to >MoP< for their second playoff championship!
There is a new poll that I would like all clans to take a look at posted on the website concerning the match day changing. It has come to my attention that several clans are finding it difficult to make matches to do other commitments, and upon several clans requesting, I've made the decision to let you decide. As far as the time, we are still scheduled to rock on 9pm Eastern on the decided match day.
Deadline for the poll will be next Saturday, August 26, at midnight. I'll be posting rule changes and clarifications shortly after that as well. We will be breaking for two weeks, then getting right back into it on September 5. |

| Post-Season Maps! | 1:25am EST | [E]psilon | We're going to play a couple different maps for STA-DOD:S Post-Season 2, and I've got them right here in a drop-in format for your dods folders. Just extract the RAR archive and go!
This update is a little early, mainly because I'm not going to be able to be in town for the next week. I am aiming to be back around Friday, so please leave voicemails on my cell, email me, keep logs of chats you have if you plan to dispute.
Hopefully I won't have things pop up on my in the future. And I'm also appealing to the community again, if you are interested in STA-DOD:S adminship, you should email me ASAP so I can get you your application to submit.

| Rules Tweaking | 10:56am EST | [E]psilon | Been revising the rules slowly as time goes on, and I've published a couple changes as it relates to client settings. The main two things set are:
* Minimum required rates for rate, cl_updaterate and cl_cmdrate.
* Allowing the use of CAL crosshairs.
